I passed my phd qualifier exam. Now I'm qualified to start working toward a phd.

I would say this is my last exam week ever, but I've been wrong about that before.

Regarding motorcycle keys and other things: If it can freeze in the 'off' position, it can probably also freeze in the 'on' position.

I'm just going to go on record and say it officially. I really believe magnetic fields do work no matter what any professors or text books say.

The problem with proofs: Most academics will "prove" anything you ask them to. Correctly or otherwise, it doesn't matter. And usually they won't know or care which class their "proof" belongs to.
