Afternoon run around the Manley Loop. I didn't do a track workout like I had thought I might. Getting up so freaking early for class totally stomps out my motivation to pack my running stuff, or even think about doing anything other than zombying my way to the classroom. But I did run a 1.1km section of the loop at (or maybe above) race pace. I'm already gaining speed, and I think that trend will continue. The biggest thing I can do now is lose weight which means getting my eating under control. And, as always, that is the hardest thing for me. I really think it's easier for me to run 12km than to say no to a second burger.
